« Qui est Jacques Cartier ? LOL » Les questions d’élèves, une perspective sur les apprentissages en univers social au primaire
Abstract
This article presents the results of a study conducted with student-generated questions on the Alloprof (a homework help service) web forum. Through the analyses of the questions, we seek to better understand the nature of the tasks submitted to students in the Geography, History, and Citizenship Education courses in Québec elementary schools. The study shows that students seem to generally be exposed to simple and description-oriented tasks and that history takes up more time and energy than geography in the teaching of social sciences.
