Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- That the research upon which the submission is based has received approval from a Research Ethics Board or did not require ethical review.
- The article has been prepared for a blind review, including removing identifiable information from the text and metadata.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Copyright clearance has been obtained for all tables, figures, or graphics previously published elsewhere.
- All tables, figures, and graphics are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- All tables are provided in an editable format and not as an image. All diagrams are provided in a high resolution of at least 1800 pixels in either height or width.
- I am aware the average time from submission to final decision is about 6-8 months. However, the availability of referees who are willing to complete the review and the speed with which authors make the required revisions will affect this timeline.
