Abstract
The Australian DOT is presently evaluating self-launching gliders with the eventual objective of establishing air worthiness standards for this class of aircraft.... The DOT realises that the three self-launching glider types it has tested this far do not necessarily cover the full range of configutrations and performance capabilities and intends to improve its knowledge as various new types become available.
