The modern methods of computing sailplane loads under turbulent conditions require some simplifying assumptiions e. g. those concerning the model of atmospheric turbulence...  For the gust conditions assumed in the present analysis, the influence of both the wing bending flexibiity and mass on the maximum values (positive and  negative) of loads is clearly visible.....
