Abstract
Micro synoptic maps of sea breeze conditions at the coast of the Baltic Sea reveal an anticyclonic curvature of the stream lines in-land of the sea breeze front. The auithor suspects that subsidence in this area is responsible for the difficulty of many soaring pilots to reach the sea breeze front from in-land.
