Abstract
The spanwise distribution of air-load torsion in the dive condition is calculated for a wing having a parallel center section and trapezoidal outer parts with twist on the latter only. The effect on wing twist on the magnitude of wing torsion in the vertical dive condition was found to be unusually very small.
