Abstract
A complete revision of the British airworthiness requirements for private gliders is being undertaken to incorporate the lessons learned during the post-war period (the present regulations were issued in 1948) and to bring them up to date generally and into line with current thought. This paper presents a resume of the revised requirements as regards to diving speeds and the rough-gust case.
