Abstract
Radar echos which are received from regions of the atmosphere in which there are apparently no scattern particles are known as 'angles'. On the display tubes of search-radars, angles are sometimes very similar to aircraft echoes and as the power of radar is being increased so angles are becoming more of a nuisance to aircraft controllers.
