Abstract

Seven converging lines of thought are synthesized in support of the perennial theory of spirit-mind-body unityand control, namely 1) ethology, 2) Freudian psychodynamiCS, 3) perception, 4) psychoneuroanatomy, 5) autogenic training, 6) yogic subtle-energy theory, and 7) Jungian psychology. Biofeedback training and visualization therapy are seen as simpleand natural ways ofbecoming conscious of, and modulating, normally unconscious body/mind processes.
