Abstract

The September 1982 issue of S0ARING contained an article that should be of a particular interest to us homebuilders: IN DEFENSE 0F THE RECTANGULAR WING FOR SIMPLE SAILPLANES, in which Stan Hall with his typical sense for clarity showed that the recently much maligned constant chord wing is not all that bad. In this paper his findings are summed up and further improvements suggested.
