Abstract

Motorgliders in China were prepared initially for sports and later for other usages. Actually the entire 1980's decade was devoted to the development of utilily motorgliders of thc types PETREL & SEAGULL. In a developing country like China, where sports flying is not yet affordable to the public, it is more appropriate to make the motorgliders for utility purposes.
