Abstract

Following the title of my lecture, I will present you a compact survey of the milestones in the history of the Polish glider design technology. ln my opinion, in contrast to the achievements of Polish glider pilots that are widely known to the international soaring communily, the efforts of Polish engineers, who have built a sound technical foundation for our gliding, are much less recognised.
