Abstract

This four-part paper is based on a study conducted by San Diego Aircraft Engineening Company for NASA, Mission Analysis Division, Ames Research Center. The series of papers presented here contains material of possible interest to sailplane designers and builders of a wide variety of structural materials applicable in the design of light aircraft (including helicopters) during the next 5 to 15 yeans.
