Abstract

Whether on not the failures involved were the result of inadequate pilot proficiency, lack of respect fon adverse weather, or the result of inadequate inspection and maintenance is of secondany importance. The point is that the airplane involved encountered flying conditions which resulted in loads being applied to the airframe of sufficient magnitude and frequency to cause catastrophic failure of the pnimary airframe structunr.
