Call for Submissions: 2022 Joint Conference Proceedings, University of Calgary + Simon Fraser University

Did you present at the 2022 Conduits Conference entitled “Contested Freedoms” on May 10th, 2022?

Did you present at the 2022 University of Calgary Conference entitled "Visions of Change" on May 10-11th, 2022?

Stream invites you to submit a full paper, research in progress, or extended abstract for our upcoming special conference joint issue with the University of Calagry and Simon Fraser University. Stream is a peer-reviewed journal produced by Simon Fraser University’s School of Communication Graduate Caucus.

Submissions are welcome from fields of interdisciplinary studies which intersect with communication and media studies. All papers should be five to 20 pages in length and submitted as a Word document (.doc or .docx) or a rich text (.rft) format. Please find Stream’s guidelines here.

Please note that only works entirely authored by students currently enrolled in master’s and/or doctoral program will be accepted. Texts co-authored by postdocs, working professionals, instructors, and/or professors do not qualify for publication with Stream.

Call for Submissions: 2021 CCA Conference Proceedings - New deadline

Will you present at the 2021 ACC-CCA Annual Virtual Conference? We invite you to submit your paper, research in progress, or extended abstracts for a special ACC-CCA Conference Graduate Student Proceedings issue, to be published in the peer-reviewed journal Stream, produced by Simon Fraser University’s School of Communication Graduate Caucus.

Submissions are welcome from all fields and disciplines that may overlap with communication studies. All papers should be 5–20 pages in length and submitted through Stream’s website. Please find the Stream guidelines at: journals.sfu.ca/stream/index.php/stream/about/submissions

Please note that only works entirely authored by students at Master’s and/or doctoral levels will be accepted. Texts co-signed by instructors and/or professors do not qualify for publication.

Will you present at the 2021 University of Calgary’s Department of Communication, Media and Film Graduate Student Conference from May 11th – May 13th?

If so, we would like to invite you to submit a full paper, research in progress, or extended abstract for the special issue of Stream on Crises. Stream is a peer-reviewed journal produced by Simon Fraser University’s School of Communication Graduate Caucus.

Stream Volume 8, Issue 1 has been published

September 29, 2016

Stream Vol. 8, issue 1 has been published. Special thanks to Byron Hauck and Veronique Emond, who acted as guest editors of the volume, as well as Prof. Dal Yong Jin, who organized the original colloqium and wrote the introduction for the issue. Please stay tuned as Vol. 8(2) will come out shortly~

Stream Vol.7 Issue 1 has been published.

We are very glad to announce that Stream Vol. 7, issue 1 has been published. Please go the "archive" section and find the issue there (the journal's homepage is showing Vol.7 issue 2, which is an in-progress issue). We would like to thank all of our authors, reviewers, and copy-editors for their hard work on this issue! Stay tuned and Vol. 7 Issue 2 is in the progress of production.
