Abstract

This paper offers a process for goal-setting to be used by Field Education students that helps them articulate a sense of self-identity grounded in their experience of Jesus. The recognition of this self-identity is at the core of formation work and has potential beyond the academic tasks of goal-setting and evaluation to become a tool for ongoing discernment. I would be interested
to hear how the process I outline may be applied in other faith traditions.
