Reviewer Guidelines

Manuscripts are peer-reviewed according to the following criteria: significance of ideas, creativity and clarity of thought, inclusion of relevant literature, quality of arguments, insightfulness of analysis and interpretation, careful consideration of counter-arguments, adequacy and suitability of writing style, and usefulness/applicability of findings. Loading… accepts articles spanning a wide range of interests, disciplines and viewpoints in games studies, as long as they are written in the manner and style of critical inquiry, reflection, exposition, interpretation, debate, and argumentation. Both conceptual and empirical studies are invited. Each submission is reviewed through a double-blind review process that will include review by two or more reviewers. Based on the reviewers’ evaluation and recommendation, the Editor will make the final publication decisions and communicate those to the authors.
