Evaluation Activities in Africa

Abstract
This article discusses the recent growth of evaluation associations and activities in Africa, namely the founding of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) in 1999. AfrEA’s initiatives are highlighted, including developing cultural evaluation guidelines, establishing training programs, and connecting to international organizations that support evaluation in Africa.
