Prácticas Mediáticas y Movimientos Sociales: El Activismo Trasnacional de Marea Granate

Resumen

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo investigar la construcción del inmigrante como sujeto político y la apropiación de nuevas tecnologías para el activismo y el cambio social. A través del análisis de las prácticas mediáticas digitales de los activistas de Marea Granate en los últimos años, se desarrollará el concepto de activismo transnacional, proporcionando un nuevo enfoque a los estudios sobre los medios de comunicación e inmigración. Desde una perspectiva puramente etnográfica, la metodología incluye entrevistas en profundidad con activistas de Marea Granate y las notas de campo recogidas a través de observación participante en el I Encuentro Internacional de Marea Granate, celebrado en Berlín en mayo de 2017.

María José Martínez Martínez, Freie Universität Berlin

María J. Martínez es estudiante de doctorado en el ‘Instituto de Estudios en Comunicación y Medios’ de la Universidad Libre de Berlín, departamento de periodismo. Después de su graduación universitaria en la Universidad de Alicante, completó su Máster en ‘Comunicación y Problemas Socioculturales’ en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid.  Actualmente vive, estudia y trabaja en Berlín. Su proyecto de doctorado cuenta con el apoyo de la Fundación Rosa Luxemburg.
