GeoS4S Module Disaster Risk Management

Abstract
Disaster Risk Management (DRM) is used to refer to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Disaster Management (DM). The basic knowledge before DRM is understanding in disaster cycle; pre-disaster, during-disaster, and post-disaster. It is an arrangements for and practices of reducing hazard risks and for preparing for responding to and recovering from disasters when they occur. It is also the events that Geoinformation could plays a big role in disaster risk management. The teaching and learning system of this module are project-based learning (PBL). Student will be facilitated learning by supporting, guiding, and monitoring the learning process.
