The journal ceased publishing in 2009, and is now superceded by <a href="http://www.sfu.ca/humanities-institute/contours.html"><em>Contours</em></a>. <em>Humanitas</em> was dedicated to the exploration of the critical perspectives that relate social concerns to the cultural and historical legacy of the Humanities.
