With the support of the Simons Foundation, SFU students were invited by the Institute for the Humanities to submit written proposals that focused on issues related to citizenship. Amanda Cawston, a Philosophy and Humanities major at SFU, presented the following paper on November 9, 2006, at SFU Harbour Centre.
