Abstract

With the support of the Simons Foundation, SFU students were invited by the Institute for the Humanities
to submit written research proposals that focused onissues related to citizenship. Stacey Fitzsimmons presented the following selected paper on November 15, 2007, at SFU Harbour Centre.

Author Biography

Stacey Fitzsimmons, Simon Fraser University

Stacey Fitzsimmons is in the third year of her PhD in International Business. Her research focuses on
cross-cultural management, and her thesis will look at the implications for global businesses of having bicultural employees. In particular, she will consider the different types of biculturalism and what each type brings to
the globalworkplace.
