Focus and Scope
The Poetic Front (TPF) publishes reviews of contemporary poetry and poetics. Like an earlier Simon Fraser University journal, Line (1983-89), TPF is affiliated with the SFU Library’s excellent Contemporary Literature Collection (CLC). As such, it privileges work growing out of post-war North American avant-garde traditions. TPF will also publish selected essays, interviews, and talks in its “Special Features” section.
The journal is edited by Stephen Collis, associate professor in the Department of English, SFU, in consultation with the board of directors, and with the support of the SFU Library, Special Collections, and the CLC.
