Paideusis Sustainability Campaign

As you know, since 1987, Paideusis has been an important journal for philosophy of education. In order to increase readership, extend discourse and broaden the community of those with an interest in philosophy of education, Paideusis transitioned online and open access in 2006. The readership of Paideusis has since increased from fewer than 100 readers to more than 700 readers.

As you may know, Paideusis has not received journal funding from SSHRC, and the next application is not until 2011.

We turn to our community of readers and writers to help us ensure that Paideusis can be sustained as an open access journal that is freely available to readers worldwide.

Paideusis has now, for the first time, activated the "donation" function of the Open Journal System publishing platform that we use (see the red "donations" link at the top of the navigation bar on the right).
