Focus and Scope

Ibnosina Journal of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (IJMBS) is an open access medical journal that is being published by Ibnosina Medical Association. The association and the journal are committed to serve the medical community at large. The journal is committed to publish high quality research. It is also committed to help researchers  from developing countries enhancing their manuscripts and research through a mentoring board.  The journal accepts manuscripts from all international medical community within the scope of medicine and biomedical sciences. All submitted material is peer reviewed with the exception of invited editorials.

Peer Review Process

 

All submitted manuscripts are peer reviewed with the exception of invited editorials and letters to editor. The reviewers are selected based on their academic activity in the field. The manuscript will be assigned to at least 3 reviewers. One reviewer for each manuscript will be a junior expert to recruit and train future reviewers.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
