This issue is a tribute to Dr. Anton Mangstl, long time IAALD member who transformed the information functions of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The articles are a mix of what is happening with information management around the world and ends with a description of the Coherence in Information for Agricultural Research for Development (CIARD) initiative and CIARD Ring as a way to bring coherence to information stored in the various repositories worldwide.
