African Journal of Traditional, Complementary and Alternative medicines

The African Journal of Traditional, Complementary and Alternative medicines (AJTCAM), a broad-based journal, is founded on two key tenets: To publish exciting research in all areas of applied medicinal plants, Traditional medicines, Complementary Alternative Medicines, food and agricultural technologies, and promotion of healthy use of medicinal products. Secondly, to provide the most rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing, and to disseminate the articles freely for teaching and reference purposes. All articles published in AJTCAM are peer-reviewed.

AJTCAM is a truly African, global and authoritative journal which publishes papers on issues dealing with Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicines. It provides the most rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing and dissemination of articles for teaching and reference purposes. AJTCAM is now fully OPEN ACCESS with the release of Volume 14, Issue 1, 2017. The journal is indexed and abstracted by some well known international abstracting organizations. Announcing the appointment of new Editorial Board and Editors of AJTCAM
We announce the appointment of the Editorial Board members of AJTCAM. The appointment is for a period of three (3) – years term and may be reappointed. Members will work with the Editors-in-Chief/Managing Editor in attracting new authors and submissions, and ensure ongoing development of the journal. Each member should handle between 6 and 12 papers per year. The Editorial Board will hold its meetings either through teleconferences or Skype

AJTCAM is not currently listed in the web of Science
AJTCAM is not listed in the web of Science in 2017. However, the journal is working hard now to improve its quality. The journal has recently migrated from its old submission site to its current site with Editorial Manager System using iThenticate software for plagiarism check and other related Editorial Management software.
